As a renovated factory building, the model unit has some unconventional spaces that create challenges from a decorating standpoint. Ms. Weinstein worked professionally and efficiently to meet a very aggressive time schedule, and was able to furnish and decorate the unit on a most cost effective basis.

"I have known Janice for several years in a purely professional capacity as she was the decorator used by wife, Dr. Lori Greenwald, to decorate the medical offices of Vanishing Veins. When the time came to sell my home Janice occurred to me as the natural choice, though my personal experience with her was limited.
Janice was spectacular. She understood that we had only two to three months to accomplish this task. She arrived on day one with a legal pad, walked through the house with me, took the time that was necessary and had everything organized quickly. She willingly took onall the tasks associated with readying the house. By this I mean that she didn’t only address the usual decorator responsibilities – paint colors, fabrics and the like – but helped me with the contractor who took on several moderate-sized jobs in the house. This was a big job and I realized that it would cost $20,000 to $30,000 (not including the deck) before I called Janice. However, it could have cost much more and it was Janice’s eye for financial concerns that kept it within a reasonable budget. Throughout, she was unfailingly pleasant to deal with, aesthetically astute, readily available, very organized and punctual.
At the end of the project the house looked great. It showed very well. Both my wife and I wished that we had undertaken the project when we were living in the house instead of when we were leaving it. Given my illness, this undertaking simply could not have been accomplished without Janice. The proof is in the proverbial pudding. In a market that many consider the worst real estate market in decades the house was in contract in four weeks at only $10,000 under my asking price. Whew. We have continued to use Janice in decorating our much larger home in Avon. I remain a fan."
